His love for cooler temperatures and the great outdoors makes him an ideal partner for those who enjoy crisp winter mornings or scenic hikes. Balto is outgoing and friendly with everyone he meets—he's never met a stranger!

At the shelter, he's been a model guest, keeping his kennel spotless and staying calm and quiet. He seems to enjoy the company of other dogs and is always up for playtime with his favorite toys. One of his most endearing features is his adorable floppy left ear, which only adds to his charm. Whether you're looking for a laid-back buddy to lounge with or an easy-going adventurer to explore the world, Balto is ready to be your loyal companion. His minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
