Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Arcee is a sweet and resilient boy with a big heart—and a bit of a journey ahead of him. Currently undergoing heartworm treatment, Arcee will need strict kennel rest until Christmas to ensure a successful recovery. Beyond that, he’ll benefit from daily joint supplements to support his stature and lifelong well-being.
Arcee thrives with an experienced, confident owner who can guide him through setting and respecting boundaries. He’s a smart dog who will test limits, and he requires someone patient yet firm to help him understand his place. Arcee does have a tendency to resource guard his food, so consistent training and care will be key.
While Arcee hasn’t been directly around children, he’s shown discomfort at their sounds from a distance, so a home without young children is recommended. He’s also not a fit for cats, as his high prey drive can make feline companions uneasy. However, Arcee has shown good manners with calm, balanced senior female dogs (both small and medium-sized). His behavior with male dogs hasn’t been tested.
Arcee is housebroken as long as he has plenty of opportunities to go outside. While his road to recovery may require patience, the reward is a loyal, loving companion ready to alert you to unusual sounds and movements.
If you’re ready to provide the structure and support Arcee needs, he’ll repay you with his sweet nature and dedicated companionship. Are you the experienced hero this boy is waiting for?

Adoption Process
We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.
Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.
Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.
Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
