Meow! Hi friends! I'm the amazing Zeus! I need to go home with my brother and best friend, Apollo. We are the friendliest guys and we love all people. I'm a very big boy at about 27lbs. I'm down from 30 lbs and my ideal weight is 15lbs. I'm on my way! I'm currently diabetic and on insulin once a day. It's hopeful that with the right diet and weight loss my diabetes might be able to be reversed.

We were abandoned in an apartment and are looking for a home with lots of love to give. We love people and will lick your hand and sit on your lap for as long as you'll let us.

My estimated birthdate is 9/1/2016.

Animal Aid of Portland is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue and welfare organization, passionately serving animals and the people they love since 1969. It is our mission to enhance the welfare of companion animals through individualized care and lifelong commitment, rescue and adoption, resources and education, and community partnerships. We operate a free-roam shelter for cats; a foster program for dogs and cats; It Takes a Pack, a community-driven animal care supply sharing initiative; and the Animal Aid Cares Fund, a partnership with veterinarians, trainers, and behaviorists in Portland to provide financial assistance for urgent medical and behavioral care.
