Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey friend! I'm Apollo. My brother, Zeus, and I love every person we've ever met! I will lick your hand and give you head butts. I'm a big boy at about 18 lbs. Zeus and I were abandoned in an apartment. Zeus and I are inseperable best friends. We are both on a diet but we promise not to beg too much for snacks between meals! I like to play but I love cuddling the most.

I have a little hernia on my tummy that is getting surgically repaired in December but if we were adopted before then Animal Aid would still pay for my surgery.

My estimated birthdate is 9/1/2016.

We do not do same-day adoptions and have an application process.

You are welcome to come into our shelter to visit the cats during our regular business hours before or after turning in an application.

Animal Aid of Portland is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue and welfare organization, passionately serving animals and the people they love since 1969. It is our mission to enhance the welfare of companion animals through individualized care and lifelong commitment, rescue and adoption, resources and education, and community partnerships. We operate a free-roam shelter for cats; a foster program for dogs and cats; It Takes a Pack, a community-driven animal care supply sharing initiative; and the Animal Aid Cares Fund, a partnership with veterinarians, trainers, and behaviorists in Portland to provide financial assistance for urgent medical and behavioral care.
