Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 23rd, 2024 at Woodbridge High School (1 Samuel Lupo Pl, Woodbridge, NJ 07095) from 11am - 3pm.
Meet Mickey! Mickey is a 5 month old, 23lb Pit Mix. Mickey is such a sweet puppy with not a bad bone in her body. Although still a little shy, she loves playing with other puppies! She may be hesitant to go out for a walk at first, but once outside, loves walking and going up to other dogs to say hello. Her tail wags the hardest when she does this!
Mickey has already started working on potty training and pees and poops outside. She is most definitely good with other dogs and children. Some of her favorite things are playing catch or playing with any kind of dog toy she can find.
If you're looking for the sweetest most gentle loving dog, she might be your perfect match.
Mickey is currently being fostered in Staten Island, NY. The adoption fee for this animal is $500.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
