My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Mitas!

I’m a 2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix, and I weigh about 38 pounds—just the perfect size for cuddles and adventures! A kind man found me wandering Main Street and brought me to the shelter to keep me safe. My stray hold is up now, and sadly, my old family didn’t come to take me home.

But that’s okay, because it means I’m ready to find my forever family!

I’m a sweet and curious guy with a big heart. I love exploring the world around me, but I also know how to relax and enjoy a good belly rub. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will brighten your days, I might be the one for you.

I’d love to meet you and see if we’re a perfect match. Can you give me the forever home I’ve been waiting for?

Love,
Mitas 🐾Fill out an adoption application online at: https://www.hshcky.org/
