Zinnia is a 1.5 year old female Shepherd mix, who is super sweet, lovable and ready to make your life a little brighter! She is everything you could want in a furry friend - smart, friendly, and just the right amount of playful. Zinnia already knows a few tricks, including Sit and Paw. In fact, she is so good at Paw that she loves to greet everyone with a cute handshake and adoring looks that just melt your heart. Zinnia is very sweet-natured, and also good on a leash, which makes strolls around the neighborhood relaxing and enjoyable. Zinnia seems good with other dogs, as well as with cats. In fact, one of the braver feral cats went right up to Zinnia, and seemed to sense her gentle, cat-friendly nature. More than anything, this girl is the kind of dog who thrives in a loving home. She’s ready to be a part of your family’s daily activities - whether it’s a walk, a play session, or snuggling up for movie night. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
