My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

`Most everyone`s mad here. You may have noticed that I`m not all there myself.`

Meet the Cheshire Cat kitten—a purrfect blend of mystery and charm! With his mesmerizing grin and enchanting presence, this playful feline will captivate you from the moment you meet. Known for his knack for appearing and disappearing at will, the Cheshire Cat kitten loves to keep you guessing with his playful antics and quirky personality.

He`s a master of stealth and surprise, effortlessly weaving through obstacles and pouncing on his favorite toys with grace and agility. Watch as he bats at dangling feathers and chases after rolling balls, leaving a trail of smiles in his wake. His playful energy is boundless, and he`s always ready to entertain with his whimsical charm.

Despite his mischievous nature, the Cheshire Cat kitten has a soft side too. He adores curling up in cozy spots and enjoys gentle pets and chin scratches. His purrs of contentment will melt away your worries and transport you to a world of comfort and companionship.

If you`re looking for a kitten with a personality as unique as his grin, adopt the Cheshire Cat and let his magic bring joy and wonder into your home!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The LA/SPCA pet adoption process includes meeting with a matchmaker to match your lifestyle with the perfect companion. You will spend time with any of the pets you think would be a great companion. You may even want to come back another day to make sure he is the one! All of our animals must be spayed or neutered before you can take them home. Sometimes your perfect companion has not had this procedure done, so please be patient with us if you have to come back to pick him up.

All of our animals have been spayed or neutered before they are released for adoption. We encourage anyone with animals to spay or neuter their pets.

More about this shelter

Chartered in 1888, the Louisiana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (LA/SPCA) is the oldest and most comprehensive animal welfare organization in the state. Our mission is to advocate for the animals of Louisiana by advancing their welfare, promoting their interests, and fostering the human-animal bond through innovative programs, education, and service.

The LA/SPCA is not a state, parish or city governed shelter. We are an independent 501(c)3 non-profit offering a broad range of services and programs including advocacy, legislative services, statewide cruelty investigations, sheltering, full-service animal control (Orleans Parish only), adoption, disaster response, education, and obedience programs.
