Sammy may only be 10 weeks old, but she has old soul vibes. This sweet, German Shepherd Dog mix has all the qualities we love in the breed. She’s attentive, focused, smart, confident, independent yet snuggly, and need I even say it? Beautiful! Sammy is great with dogs, too. She’s looking for a home that will continue to feed her hunger to learn and love her so much that her shelter days are a distant memory.

Sammy is being fostered in Boulder, Colorado.

Mile High Canine Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3, Colorado non-profit organization established in 2019. We are 100% volunteer run and foster home based. MHCR aims to provide abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs a loving home to grow and learn in until a suitable forever home is found. While in foster care, our dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested/treated, microchipped, and vaccinated. We rescue dogs from Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.
