My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Snow! He is the sweetest little cuddle be bug. He loves a good cat nap and looking outside the window. He's very curious, playful, and affectionate. He loves to spend time by your side and curl up on your lap. He's truly a love bug!!

Additional adoption info

The Smitten With Kittens (SWK) adoption process is simple:

Fill out our online application and a volunteer will then review and get back to you as soon as possible.

SWK requests a donation with every kitten adoption which includes the spay or neuter surgery, current vaccinations, deworming, and FIV/FeLV test. Please note that this donation helps cover the medical expenses incurred on all rescues, not just one.

Go meet their pets

Please visit our Adopt Page of our website or follow us on Facebook for the most up to date information on our current rescues and how you can meet them.

When possible, we have adoption events and/or kittens in the Adoption Habitat at Petco Village Square (1380 Village Square Boulevard) in Tallahassee.

And at times, you will be able to meet and play with a few of our adoptable kittens at Fat Cat Café at 2901 East Park Avenue in Tallahassee.

More about this rescue

Smitten with Kittens, Inc. is a no-kill 501(c)3 non-profit kitten rescue group in Tallahassee, Florida, with a focus on rescue and adoption of the very young. We are active supporters of community spay and neuter efforts and educate the public regarding the benefits of controlling the population.

We are a foster-based group of volunteers that rescues kittens that will be euthanized or face certain death. They are the abandoned, the newborns, the deformed, the blind, the sick and the injured that don’t otherwise have a chance for survival. We provide the medical care they need as well as the socialization skills to become loving pets. All our kittens are provided age appropriate vaccines, are tested for communicable disease, and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
