Meet Toffee! She’s a two-year-old, 10-pound Shih Tzu with a sweet and playful personality that’s ready to brighten someone’s life. Rescued from a neglectful situation where she was one of too many dogs, Toffee came to us in dire need of love and care. She had never been to the vet before. Thankfully, she was rescued just in time and has since received the care and attention she deserved.

Now spayed, chipped, and up to date on shots, Toffee has blossomed into a confident and affectionate little pup. She adores playing with her doggy friends, loves spending time with kids, and is always ready for an adventure. Toffee also has impressive agility skills and loves to jump! Her athleticism and playful nature make her a great candidate for agility training, where she can channel her energy and talent into something fun and rewarding.

Toffee is looking for a loving family who will give her the second chance she’s been waiting for—a home where she can continue to thrive, share her love, and maybe even showcase her jumping skills!

Additional adoption info

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $425
1 year - 6 years $375
7 years+ - $325

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
