Hello, I`m MARCY. I`m a bit older than some of my friends here, but that doesn`t slow me down. I`m full of love, always ready for a cuddle. I`ve got a heart as big as a mountain, and I`m eager to share it with someone special. I love a good nap, but I`m also always up for a gentle stroll. I`m patient, I`m kind, and I`m oh so sweet. I may be a senior, but I`ve got a lot of love left to give. Why should you adopt me? Well, I believe every home needs a little Marcy magic. Visit our shelter at 4600 Eagleridge Place, Pueblo CO. We process adoptions on a first-come, first-serve basis and cannot place holds on animals by phone. The adoption process takes a minimum of 45 minutes to an hour, and up to two hours on Saturdays and during our busiest times.

We provide compassionate care for nearly 5,000 animals each year. Most of the animals that come to our shelter are either pets relinquished by their owners or stray pets found wandering in the areas we serve. Dogs and cats are the most common, although a wide variety of other animals may be found at the shelter as well, including birds, snakes, fish, hamsters and guinea pigs.
