My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Courtney! 🐾

Are you looking for a loyal companion to join your farm family? Look no further, because Courtney is ready to melt your heart and become your forever friend!

This beautiful three-year-old Australian Kelpie mix has had quite the journey before landing in our shelter. Courtney was discovered in a barn, bravely caring for her precious puppies. Now that her puppies have all found loving homes, Courtney is eagerly awaiting her turn to find a family to call her own.

Courtney is a spirited and energetic girl with a heart as big as the open fields. She has a natural instinct to explore and would thrive in a farm environment where she can stretch her legs and let her curious nature roam. However, her boundless energy comes with a caveat – Courtney is a bit of an escape artist and can jump up to six feet in the air! That's why she's looking for a home with a high fence or the ability to train boundaries and recall where she can safely learn to channel her athleticism into positive activities.

While Courtney may be a bit reserved at first, once you earn her trust, you'll discover her sweet and affectionate nature. Building that trust may take some time, so we recommend visits to the shelter to spend time with her and let her get to know you. Once she opens up, you'll be rewarded with a loyal and loving companion who will always be by your side.

Courtney is longing for a patient and understanding family who can provide her with the love, guidance, and structure she needs to thrive. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this special girl, come meet Courtney today and see if she's the perfect fit for your farm family!
