My name is Jasper, but everyone I love calls me Jazz. I just like to smile. Smiling is my favorite. Other than toys. Smiling while playing with toys, now that’s my favorite! Life didn’t start this good though. I was just a puppy myself when I was abandoned. I ended up at a shelter in WV, pregnant! Then all my puppies were adopted and I was alone. And sad. But then I was brought to PA by Cross your Paws and have been staying with my foster family - where I discovered love, fun and TOYS. My foster mom says that I’m the happiest girl. I can amuse myself by throwing toys in the air and attacking them. My other favorite past times including chewing on bones and removing all of the stuffing from toys!
Now that I’ve had a taste of the good life, I’m done having puppies (already spayed) and I’m ready to live my best life! I’m in search of my forever family - could it be you?! Some things I’m looking for - a warm, dry house, I don’t like rain or being wet! Someone to love me - I love everyone - especially kids, and love getting love in return! Maybe being pet is my favorite instead?! My foster mom claims I’m the softest pup she ever did pet and oh I do enjoy a good belly rub!
I like playing with other dogs, but I’m very playful (only a year and a half old) so it’s best if the other dogs also like to play so I don’t annoy them! Opportunities to exercise also keep me happy! I like to play fetch, take walks, or have room to just run! I already know to go potty outside but I’m still learning what’s a toy and what’s not, so a little patience is appreciated if I chew a slipper or a ball that isn’t meant for me. My mom says I correct super well though. Just tell me no and to drop it and I’m eager to please!
I’m very curious. I want to know what my humans are doing (especially what they are cooking) and I’m still learning manners when I meet new people. I get so excited to give them love that I forget to sit and be calm. But I’m working on it and getting better each day, but need someone who will keep teaching me these new things!
