Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hello there! My name is Alabama, and I'm a 4-year-old bundle of joy ready to be your new best friend! I may have started life as a stray, but I've quickly embraced my role as the center of attention-and let me tell you, it's my favorite place to be!
I'm a social butterfly who's eager to make friends with everyone I meet, whether they walk on two legs or four. Big dogs, small dogs, cats-bring them on! I'm house trained, crate trained, and I can even sit on command (most of the time-I like to keep things interesting!).
I love car rides and going on adventures, so if you're looking for a co-pilot, I'm your girl! I'm working on this thing called "wait," but I'm already a pro at understanding "no." At night, I sleep soundly in my crate, dreaming of belly rubs and treats.
My foster mom says I'm the sweetest little girl, and I'm ready to show you just how generous I can be with my love and kisses. Weighing in at just 14 lbs, I'm the perfect size for snuggles and fun. If you're looking for a lovable companion who's always up for a good time, look no further-I'm Alabama, and I can't wait to meet you!
Come meet our adoptable dogs on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm in the backyard at AARF's new location- 302 Thurston St, W-S. Go to AARFWS.org to view and apply for our AARF dogs. Information about the process is available on our website. Remember that we do not adopt more than a 45-minute radius from our facility in Winston Salem.
