Here's what the humans have to say about me:
LaRue has been a victim of a revolving door and, for whatever reason, isn't affected at all. Tossed out the first time, LaRue was found by our Rescue's VP and fostered until she was adopted. She stayed with her first family for a couple of years and returned when she and the other pets couldn't get along. She was fostered by the VP again and then to me. She was adopted by a family after hearing of her sad story only to be returned 3 WEEKS later bc of a family move and inability to take the new pet. LaRue has been with me for about 6 months total (minus the 3 weeks) and she's just an amazing cat. Initially she would hide and keep to herself but recently she has started playing with the other two fosters and gets along well with everyone. LaRue is a smaller cat, although she's listed at 9#, and she gets along with male and female hoomans as well as her male foster friends. The only other female feline in the house is the overlord, so it isn't really fair to say she doesn't get along with other female cats. She would be fine as long as the other cat isn't aggressive. She isn't food aggressive and will allow nail trimming and other care like a champ. What LaRue DOESN'T need is another failed attempt at adoption. She comes back confused and depressed and it just isn't fair for her to keep getting tossed around. LaRue is a great little cat and will sneak in to our bed at night for little rubs, nudges, and kisses. LaRue is a viscious anole lizard chaser through the window screen and will entertain her audience for hours.
No children or dog experience but slow introductions are appropriate and would probably be fine.

Additional adoption info
Once you have submitted an application and we have reviewed that application with you, if your needs meet our foster's needs, we will follow up with your references and current veterinarian if applicable so that our foster will be your purrfect companion. We will schedule a meet and greet and if you and our foster pet are a match, you may take your new best friend home that day. All aminals are spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and microchipped. Most have combo tests and their information is available for the applicant.
