Meet Tyson! A true handsome intelligent young boxer! Tyson was picked up as a stray in MO and never claimed! He was very skinny and extremely fearful, but very smart! So, they enrolled him in the local Correctional Center Animal Training. He was very quick to make training goals and his eagerness to learn grew daily. He advanced to loose leash walking and responding to commands such as sit, stay, and down. He has the typical boxer energy that makes a great training partner. He is very playful with other dogs. We are unsure of cats, but they don't bother him in the office. He will need direction and continue his manner training if he was to be around small children just because of his energy lever. Additional adoption info

All pet adoptions require a completed adoption application. Our office staff and volunteers act as matchmakers to find animals good homes. Your responses on the adoption application help them make a good match. You can also take our Meet Your Match survey (see below), which matches adopters with pets.

Adopters must be 21 years of age and live within 200 miles of our shelter.

The adoption fee is designed to offset some of the expenses we incur in caring for each animal.

Dogs - $200
Puppies - $250 (6 months and younger)
Cats - $25 (seniors), $65 (adult cats)
Kittens - $80 (kittens 6 months and under)
