Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi there, I am a pretty Spaniel/Pekingese mix named Princess. I'm about 3 years old, 11.9 lbs, and recently had puppies but they were sold and taken away while I was still nursing them. I was living outdoors with my 3 sisters in Von Ormy Texas, covered in fleas, without any water, and we were miserable. Thank goodness for nosey neighbors, because when a very nice lady who fosters dogs found out what was going on she offered to buy us all, and our owner accepted. These days we are very happy, living well, being properly cared for, have now been vaccinated, spayed, and chipped, and best of all we are ready to find much better owners!
We are all sweet girls, friendly with people, friendly with other dogs, good with cats, not very playful, at least not yet, and we are still learning what doggy toys are for. We love doggy treats of any variety, especially bully sticks. We are all desperate for love and follow our foster mom around the house, like a little train of adorable girls supervising everything she does, and patiently waiting for pets and snuggles and kisses on our foreheads. We are all housebroken, have never barked, have now learned how to use a doggy door, and are wonderful road trip passengers. Our futures look bright, and we are so looking forward to joining wonderful families anywhere on the East Coast! Inquire about us today but I hope you choose me!
PUPDATE: I am in Connecticut, staying in a foster home until you stop by and meet me, fall in love, and take me home!!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
