Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Peyton! This perfect little lady is about 3 months old and has a moderate case of CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia) which means she's a little more wobbly and uncoordinated than the average cat, but she doesn't let this hold her back from living her best life and providing endless joy and affection! Peyton absolutely adores people and thrives on their company, always ready to curl up next to you while you read or watch TV, purring contentedly.
One of her favorite pastimes is watching "cat TV." The sight of birds and squirrels on the screen captivates her, bringing endless entertainment. When it's playtime, Peyton is all in! She loves batting around her toys and exploring new ones, and her adorable wobbles add an extra layer of charm to her antics. She really enjoys the company of other cats and would thrive in a home with one or more other kitties.
Peyton brings so much life wherever she goes. She truly is such a gentle, sweet kitten that deserves the very best, and hopefully that's a home of her own very soon!

More about this shelter
Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. is founded on the belief that all animals have a natural right to humane treatment including proper care and safe shelter. Due to overpopulation, there are insufficient homes for most cats and dogs. Some are lucky enough to find temporary shelter and a few even find permanent homes. However it is a devastating fact that the majority are either euthanized or forced to chance life without shelter.
To support our belief and to relieve the unnecessary suffering of animals, we shall:
1.Extend every effort to find, evaluate, and secure good adoptive homes for animals in our care.
2.Provide animals with medical services and behavior therapy to the extent of our ability.
3.Adhere to a “no-kill” policy: animals shall not be euthanized for the purpose of providing space for new animals.
4.Adhere to a 100% spay and neuter policy.
5.Maintain continuing humane education programs and in particular to schools.
