My name is Sammy Dean. I am 50 lbs and a little over 1 year old. I am a heeler/lab/terrier mix. I have so many amazing qualities all in one package. I am in an awesome foster home in CT with an ASCZ alum. I have really enjoyed my time with her and my other dog friends I have met. I am friendly, playful, and I greet appropriately. Overall, I am really social! I am also great on leash... and let's keep the good qualities coming. I am housebroken and I accept my time in the crate when needed. Toys - love them! I have met kids of all ages and have enjoyed them. I can still occasionally get that puppy excitement because I am just really enjoying life! In addition.... I ride well in the car; I don't bark much at all AND I even went on a little jog (with a loose leash) the other day! I mean... I am clearly a catch. No - I am not high energy. I am medium but if you want to go for a nice long walk or hike, I am totally game. After all checks on the application have been completed, the potential adopter will speak with the rescue to discuss what they are looking for and if a dog will be a great fit in their home. Once an application is submitted, the adopter will hear from the rescue within 72 hours.
The fee for puppies under 6 months is $525 and the fee for dogs 6 months and older is $425. This fee contributes to (but not limited to) all core vaccinations for each puppy/dog, microchip, spay/neuter, HW testing and prevention and flea/tick prevention while under the rescue's care and transportation.
