Darcey and Dolores are very shy kitties but they are sweet. Once you hold or pet them, they melt and share super loud purrs and biscuits galore. They will take a patient adopter and should be started out in a small space with few hiding places until they get used to their new family and develop a bit of a bond. Then they can have access to more of the home. They would do best in a home with no rambunctious dogs or young children.
Meet Darcey and Dolores at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, during our weekly adoption event from 12-4pm. Get $50 off the adoption fee of a pair of kittens (under 1 year of age). All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.
All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
