My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Clarabelle, a 16-week-old female kitten full of sweetness and curiosity! 🐾 This social and friendly girl loves to explore and play, always ready for a game of chase or a new adventure. Clarabelle is easygoing and enjoys being around people, making her the perfect companion for a family looking for an active, affectionate kitty.

Her playful nature is matched only by her love for cuddles—when she’s not running around, Clarabelle is happy to curl up in your lap for some quiet bonding time. She’s curious about everything and loves discovering new things.

Clarabelle is looking for a loving home where she can continue to explore, play, and share her affectionate side.

Ready to meet this playful bundle of joy? Come visit Clarabelle at the MaryAnn Wright Animal Adoption and Education Center and see if she’s the perfect match for you! 🐱💖<p>

More about this shelter

Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit (FAMD) brings a little more love into the world by celebrating the special bond between an animal and their “person.” At FAMD, we don’t just rescue dogs and cats, we make life-changing connections with the people who adopt them.

We bring our passion and animals into the community with events that help bring together dogs and cats with loving people. And our outreach programs help promote education and animal welfare legislation locally, so that fewer animals have to spend another minute waiting for their forever home.

FAMD’s new state-of-the-art Animal Adoption and Education Center at 16121 Reckinger Road in Dearborn offers animals comfortable housing and medical support. It’s where our staff and volunteers work every day to make Metro Detroit a happier, more loving place for both two-legged and four-legged creatures alike.
