Squibb is a little boy who arrived at the shelter with a broken leg, but nothing could break his spirit! We scooped him up, whisked him away to get the surgery he needed, and now this sweet boy is on the road to recovery—and searching for his forever family!
At just 11 months old, Squibb is a bundle of love and loyalty wrapped up in one adorable pup. He’s got a heart as big as his cute underbite, and he’s always eager to be right by your side, following you around like your shadow. This little guy has been such a trooper during his recovery, and he’s just about ready to leave the bandages behind and embrace a life full of cuddles, fun, and belly rubs!
For now, Squibb still needs to take it easy for about a month to make sure his leg heals properly. But don’t worry—he’s already dreaming of the day he can finally let loose and show off his playful side. He’s great with other dogs and can’t wait to make new friends once he’s fully back on his paws.

Home Check
We will come out to make sure your home is safe for a Pug; if you live out of area we can do the home check via Skype or FaceTime.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
You can make an appointment to come pick out a Pug or you can also do that at one of our events (see our event page on website).
Additional adoption info
We require an application either online through our website or in person at our facility or one of our events. Once we receive the application we will schedule a home visit. After approval, you are eligible to adopt any available dog. Our fees range from $75 - $550 depending upon age. $550 would be for a pure pug puppy (which we rarely get), $75 would be for our senior for senior program. Full price list available on our website.

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities.
