Penny is a Dachshund mix (possibly Scotch Collie) and weighs currently 18.5 lbs. She loves kids and other dogs and enjoys playing. We are working on her potty training because her previous family had her potty on pee pads. She is heartworm negative and is currently on Nexgard Plus. Her owners are keeping her Mom. They found homes for her other siblings before deciding they could not provide for her care and wanted her to find a forever home. She will be spayed in December.

Additional adoption info

We require a pre-adopt to be filled out then a home visit and vet check is done prior to adoption. Adoption fees are normally $200 - $350 but some adoption fees could be higher depending on the breed.. All pets are vaccinated, heartworm negative, spayed/neutered and microchipped. If a pet is heartworm positive it will undergo a treatment plan.

We rescue bully breeds as well as other breeds. Our group was formed in 2009 because of the heartbreaking need to help the homeless animals in our area. We are licensed by the Dept. of Agriculture and registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue. We fundraise constantly to help pay for medical emergencies.
