Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOR ADOPTION: IGGY is a stunning smokey black approximately 1 year old female looking for a forever family that loves cuddling as much as she does! Iggy was the third sweet young cat found in the area around the Wildlife Shelter in Smithers this fall and the second that was brought into a local vet clinic to be euthanized simply for showing up at the wrong place. Iggy is very lucky that the vet staff refused to euthanize a healthy, friendly cat and that they were able to hold onto her until our overflowing shelter had the space to take her in. Iggy was malnourished and well on her way to being emaciated when she was brought into the vet clinic, this is not a girl that will thrive fending for herself. With a steady diet Iggy has put in some much needed weight but chances are very strong she will always be a petite girl. Iggy takes a little time to warm up to new animals but once she knows they are friendly she is happy to share her space with other friendly cats and calm dogs. She could just as happily be an only pet that takes in all the attention in her home. Iggy is excellent with respectful children and could very easily be a beloved family pet. This little lady is all about the snuggles, she would cuddle away an entire day if she was able to. When not cuddling Iggy can be found doing typical young cat things such as batting around her toys and filling up on snacks. Iggy has been quite happy indoor only but could enjoy some time in a catio or in a safe and secure yard. She is spayed, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control. If you’ve been looking for an adorable cuddle machine apply today at www.NWAS.ca for a chance to meet IGGY #NWASIggy
