My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I’m Chloe! I am a sweet and reserved young pup. My two brothers and I were living in rescue in Alabama, since we were babies. We found foster homes here in Minnesota and we all took the freedom ride together. Now here I am in foster home looking for loving family to call my own.

Being in a house is new to me. My foster Mom takes me outside on a schedule and I’m a smart girl and eager to please. My foster Mom is sure I will have the potty training thing down in no time and won’t have to be on a schedule for long.

I am a little shy to try new things but follow the lead of the resident dog here or just need some extra encouragement from my foster family. After experiencing the new thing each time it gets easier for me. For example, the last two car rides my foster mom had to lift me out of the car tonight I happily jumped out following the resident dog. I ride great in the car I lay down and enjoy the ride.

So far, my favorite time is meal time. I do really enjoy eating! Also the treats I get for being a good girl! I love to chew on a bully stick or Yak chew. I play with dog toys. I do really like the ones that squeak or roll.

After I play, I love nothing more than to snuggle up and take a nap. I find somewhere to rest my head maybe on your arm or leg and I’m out.

I love tummy rubs. When I’m happy I lay on my back and roll around. I really am the sweetest girl!

I go in my crate when asked and like a treat for doing so. I go in my crate when my foster family is away from the house and I sleep in my crate overnight.

I can’t wait you meet you! Either put in an application to show interest in having a one-to-one meeting with me. Or come to an adoption event to meet me.

Until we meet
XOXO❤️❤️
Chloe

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

More about this rescue

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”

Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
