Katie is a tiny terrier girl, weighing in at 7 lbs but is on the thin side. This little doll is between 2.5 and 3 years old and is such a sweet pup that loves, loves, loves to snuggle under a blanket with you! Katie is ready now to go to her forever home and with the cold nights on the way, who wouldn't need a cuddle buddy like her to curl up with?!
Katie is crate trained but she may surprise you and jump right in your bed at night to snuggle with you! She is working hard on potty skills and is making solid progress! She's good with other dogs and is not particularly thrown off by her 14 pound foster sister pup who can be quite bossy. This little precious adores woman but does takes a bit to warm up to men UNLESS he has a cozy blanket! Katie also faced her foster's troop of 5 grandkids without a fear! Katie would do fine as an only dog but a fur friend to help her learn the ropes of a new home would also be great.

We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you. Thank you for choosing adoption!!
