Shelby is perfect for somebody looking for a beautiful, loyal dog that’s had some training and is ready to fit right in! First, she’s completely housebroken.  She’s had zero accidents during her time being fostered, a true rarity.  She sleeps through the night.

Shelby is super smart, knows some commands and learns routines quickly.  She’s into whatever you’re into.  Working from home?  Cool, she’ll snooze on her bed.  Leaving the house?  Great, she can be left out without destroying your stuff.  She’s also fine in a crate, but doesn’t love going in. 

Want to snuggle on the couch? Snuggles are her FAVORITE, and she’s soft as can be!  Need to get some exercise in the yard or on a walk?  Perfect, that’s just what she’d like to do too! 

Shelby was found under a deck, with her chunky puppies while she herself was emaciated.  She’s the epitome of loyalty, making sure her puppies were well fed even while she starved.  Her puppies are now weaned and she’s looking for a home that's mutually loving and loyal.  Shelby would be best in a home that’s either adults only or with older teens. She loves treats, chew toys and occasional zoomines.  It's so cute! Shelby sometimes jumps when she's excited or gets a bit mouthy when playing, but she’s generally easily redirected and will learn quickly with consistency. She seems to have some of the best traits of both shepherds and huskies.  She’s not excessively vocal and would likely be fine in an apartment with walks and exercise.  Shelby may benefit from another dog her own size or larger to show her the ropes.    

Shelby's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current.
