Meet Short Tail!

He has been in foster care since he was 4 weeks of age, and after about 1.5 months he is now ready to find his forever home. While in foster care, Short Tail was surrounded by his two litter mates, adult cats, rabbits, and playful dogs. Short Tail loves a lap to take a nap in, being next to his person, and cuddling with his littermate.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
