My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hillard, aka Hiley! Available for Adoption and fostering!

Are you looking for a seasoned cuddle expert to join your family? Meet Hillard, affectionately known as Hiley! This charming 9-year-old Lab mix is ready to steal your heart with his gentle demeanor and loving personality.

Despite his age, Hiley is full of life and adores being the center of attention. His endearing trait? He may be missing most of his teeth, but that doesn't stop him from flashing the sweetest smile and giving the warmest cuddles you can imagine. If you're someone who loves to shower affection and receive it in return, Hiley is your perfect match!

Hiley thrives in a calm environment and would do best in a single-dog home where he can bask in all the love and attention. He enjoys leisurely strolls and lounging by your side, making him an ideal companion for quiet evenings and lazy weekends.

This loving boy is not just looking for a home; he's searching for a forever family who will cherish him as much as he cherishes them. Could you be the one to open your heart and home to Hiley?

Make Hiley's golden years truly shine with love and care and give Hiley the loving home he so deserves!

All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment. You can contact us through our website at http://legendsrescue.org/index.php/contact/ or visit our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LegendsRescue/ if you have further questions or would like to schedule a meet and greet.
FOSTER CARE: Our rescues are fostered in individual homes or at our facility. We work hard to ensure that our rescues have a supportive family while at foster homes to help them move forward and get ready for their forever home. We work on training, crate-training and socialization before an animal is adopted out. Foster homes are extremely important to the success of the cat at their forever home, and it is extremely rewarding to be able to watch the cats growth as you help them on their journey to their happy ending.
YOU CAN HELP: If you’re not able to foster or adopt right now, please consider sponsoring a Legend. Your donation will help with our care and pay for medical costs. Visit this link https://www.legendssenioranimalrescue.org/checkout/donate?donatePageId=665e5818df4f572e36b69c9f to donate.

More about this rescue

Legends Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is a rescue based in New Brighton, Minnesota founded in 2017. Most of our dogs are rescued from Puppy Mills or surrendered. We help them decompress, realize humans are good, trustworthy and they deserve love. It’s so rewarding watching these dogs come out of their shell and develop personalities.
All of us have been working extra hard with extra dogs! If you are looking to foster or adopt a dog – or two – we have puppies to seniors – shedding and non-shedding.
So, if you have room in your home for some sweetness, or know someone who needs a new friend or two – please contact us, or go to Legends Rescue on Facebook or email.
