My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bailey (A136685) is a 5-year-old Lab x Chow Chow mix who weighed 58.1 pounds on intake!

11/19/24 This beautiful girl is Bailey! Bailey was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of her own. She was stated to be spoiled rotten and used to cuddling up in bed or on the couch with her owner. Snuggling up under the covers or a nice fluffy blanket is an extra bonus! Bailey was said to be housebroken and to generally mind well. However, she was known to jump up on people, and because of that, her prior owner felt she would do best in a home without young children that she might accidentally knock over. Bailey was known to bark at strangers, especially when they approached her home. She was also said to take a while to warm up to other dogs and could initially be protective of her owner and space. Bailey might do best in a home without other dogs or with an understanding owner who can slowly introduce her into their home. Bailey was known to have a rough style of play and liked having hard chew toys to play with. She was also known to dig when outdoors. Bailey was said to be an outgoing, friendly, and affectionate dog and has been an absolute sweetheart to the care staff at the shelter! If you want to meet her and keep spoiling her like the princess she is, please let us know!
