HANNAH ***CONTACT KAT katkylabrescue@gmail.com HANNAH TWO GREAT BREEDS, ONE "GREAT" LITTLE GIRL!! HANNAH****FUN--HAPPY--SO LOVING--BEYOND ADORABLE" HANNAH IS A GORGEOUS, 7 WK. OLD, PAPPILLON / KING CHARLES SPANIEL MIX PUPPY!!! THE FIRST THING YOU WILL NOTICE WHEN YOU SEE HANNAH IS WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PUPPY SHE IS. HER COAT IS SPARKLING GLACIER WHITE ACCENTED WITH SPLASHES OF "HIGH GLOSS" BLACK, SHE IS A BEAUTIFULLY MARKED LITTLE PUP!! HER COAT IS "CUDDLE" SOFT, YOU WILL WANT TO PAT AND RUB THIS LITTLE GIRL ALL DAY AND AS MUCH AS HANNAH ADORES AFFECTION, ATTENTION AND TO CUDDLE IN YOUR LAP THIS IS JUST FINE WITH HER. HER EYES TRULY SPARKLE LIKE A MILLION STARS WHEN HANNAH FIRST SEES YOU. IF YOU PUT TOGETHER A "WISH LIST" OF EVERY TRAIT YOU COULD EVER WANT IN A PUPPY CHANCES ARE IT WOULD BE HANNAH, SHE IS THE "TOTAL PUPPY". THIS LITTLE GIRL COMES WITH A BUILT IN GUARANTEE. WE GUARANTEE YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE THE MINUTE YOU SEE HER AND WORDS LIKE "OH, SHE'S SOOOOO PRECIOUS" WILL COME GUSHING OUT OF YOUR MOUTH. IN FACT OUR DIRECTOR MADE THE COMMENT "THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONAL LITTLE GIRL, SOOOOO SMART". THE MINUTE YOU CALL HER NAME OVER TO YOU SHE'S COMING, HER LITTLE PUPPY PAWS MOVING AS FAST AS SHE CAN GO WHICH IS PRETTY FAST, HER EYES TWINKLING WITH EXCITEMENT, TAIL WAGGING OR IN HANNAH'S CASE HER WHOLE BODY IS ONE TINY WIGGLE. SHE WILL TURN HER INQUISITIVE PUPPY HEAD TO ONE SIDE AS IF SHE'S SAYING "HI I'M HANNAH WHERE'S THE BALL?--WANNA PLAY?!!" A PAT ON THE HEAD OR A TENNIS BALL TO CHASE AND NOW HANNAH HAS ADOPTED YOU AS HER NEW BEST FRIEND. THIS LITTLE GIRL NEVER MEETS A STRANGER, CHILDREN(WHICH SHE ADORES) TO SENIORS ARE IMMEDIATELY HER NEW BEST BUDDY. SHE ALSO ADORES ALL DOGS, THE ONLY REQUIREMENT SHE HAS IS THAT THEY WILL PLAY WITH HER(SHE'S EVEN FINE WITH CATS). IN FACT HANNAH SPENDS HER DAYS PLAYING WITH SEVERAL OF OUR RESCUE PUPPIES TO WATCH HANNAH AND HER PLAY BUDDIES ROLL AND TUMBLE CHASING THEIR BALLS ALL DAY WILL INDEED BRING A HUGE SMILE TO YOUR FACE THIS LITTLE GIRL KNOWS HOW TO HAVE A GOOD TIME!!. HANNAH HAS A GLOWING, GENTLE, LOVING, PERSONALITY AND DISPOSITION AND LIVES UP TO THE BEST TRAITS OF THE KING CHARLES SPANIEL. IT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH TO MAKE HANNAH HAPPY JUST A NEVER ENDING SUPPLY OF CHEW BONES, SQUEAKY TOYS, A FEW DOZEN TENNIS BALLS AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT ROLLS, RATTLES AND MAKES NOISE. NOT ONLY ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PUPPIES WE HAVE SEEN NOW LET'S ADD SMART TO THE MIX AND BOY IS SHE. TRUE TO THE KING CHARLES SPANIEL SHE IS AN EXTREMELY FAST LEARNER SOOOOO SMART, A PUP WHO LISTENS WELL, EAGER TO LEARN, WANTING TO PLEASE. IF IT WAS YOUR DAY TO TAKE THE CHILDREN TO SCHOOL DON'T LET HANNAH HEAR YOU JINGLE YOUR CAR KEYS UNLESS YOU PLAN ON TAKING HER ALONG, JUST GRAB THIS PRECIOUS PUP, A MILK BONE OR TWO AND TAKE OFF. Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Application, followed by an interview either by phone or home visit.

BEFORE YOU APPLY:
All known information about an individual dog is provided in it's listing. We do our best to provide accurate information, but adopters must understand that each home is different and the dog may behave differently in a new home. Dogs are creatures of their environment and you help make the dog what it will be.

Homes considering adopting a puppy must be prepared for:
1.) Flexible schedules for potty training. Puppies can only "hold it" for one hour per month of age (ex. a 4 month old puppy can only go 4 hours without a potty break).
2.) Crate training until the puppy is at least one year old, to prevent chewing on inappropriate things when you can't supervise.
3.) Socialization: The more positive and varying experiences as a puppy the better, both in and out of your home.
4.) Puppy behavior and life stages are equivalent to a human toddler. It takes at least a full year to have a calmer, well adjusted dog. Patience is required and when your dog's behavior is a positive experience for you and those around you, your patience will be rewarded tenfold, for years to come.
Please do not consider adopting a puppy if you have not thoroughly thought through the pros and cons of having one. So many people end up returning them after 3-5 months because they didn't realize the amount of work involved in raising a puppy.
Patience, appropriate toys, socialization, and obedience training are all musts. All are time consuming, and can be expensive.

All Dogs Require:Supervision with children and obedience training.
Adopters that want to have good dogs must be prepared to put the time and effort into training a dog. Any dog requires work and effort, but a well trained, well socialized dog is more than worth the effort put in to get them there.

Most of the puppies and dogs are vetted, fostered and lovingly cared for in the home state in which they were rescued.
