PEPITA is a bold, fun loving torbie polydactyl who likes to be in charge, as she was for 7 years at a Queens bodega. When the shop felt inspections were picking up, they just handed her off IN A MILK CRATE to a customer. Yes, truth is stranger than fiction! We don't know where he was taking her, but she somehow jumped out of his car and ran, turning up behind a pizza oven in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, on 10th ave near W 56th street! After living her whole life as the glamorous social superstar of the bodega, she went through chaos and fear and appreciates a little time to adjust to new surroundings. She is extremely outgoing and will greet your guests as the true charming hostess she is, but keep in mind, she has been Queen Bee for a long time, and seems to like it that way! Be prepared to do her bidding, and your reward will be her great affection and love. We also think she must be part British Shorthair because she has short legs and the cutest, roundest face! And please, folks, do not call her Pizza Dough, which ACC called her. Her name is PEPITA - say it loud and proud!!
This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
