He's already showing us how smart he is and catching on quickly to his routine of meal times, potty breaks, and nap times. He loves being outdoors and would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard for exploring and playing. Ensete already knows "sit" and is sleeping through the night.
He adores his people and lights up when he gets to play with other dogs. He’d love to have a furry sibling to help show him the ropes and share in his adventures. Like any typical puppy, he’s curious, loves to chew, and enjoys playing with toys, so plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment will help him thrive. This affectionate pup is full of love and excitement, making him the ideal companion for someone ready to invest time and love into his puppyhood. Whether he’s snuggling up with you or romping around the yard, Ensete's goal is simple: to make you smile every day.

Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household.
Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
