My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I found Merlyn outside my apartment complex 3 1/2 years ago. After finding his owner he told me he abandoned Merlyn because Merlyn would knock things off the counter. My wife and I took Merlyn in and had him neutered and get his shots. He has been an amazing cat the past 3 1/2 years. He takes a bit to get used to new animals, but he absolutely LOVES people. Recently he has started randomly urinating out of the litter box. The vast majority of the time he goes in the litterbox, but if he finds a pillow or a pile of clothes that hasn't moved in a week or more he will decided to periodically urinate on them. He is genuinely the greatest cat I have ever owned, but my wife is pregnant and we feel we can't take care of his needs while raising a baby. He is sweet, playful, soft, loves to cuddle, and loves being pet. I'm hoping to find him a home who can accommodate his random episodes and treat him with the love and kindness he deserves.
