Meet Bruce! Bruce is a very shy and bashful friend, and he is very nervous about meeting new people. With lots of treats, love, and patience, you and Bruce will become great friends. Once comfortable, he will make for quite the companion. He is very affectionate with those he trusts, and will be sure to give you lots of kisses and cuddles. He will need a quiet home environment, with adopters who are willing to give Bruce the time he needs to adjust. Bruce has a history of escape behaviors that adopters should be prepare to manage. San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
