My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chi Chi Celsius!

Chi Chi Celsius and a husky entered San Diego Humane Society-Oceanside as strays. They had microchips that confirmed they were from the same home, but sadly, their owners did not come from them. Both dogs became available for adoption, and we scooped up Chi Chi on November 19th. He is 8 years old and weighs 9 lbs. He gets along well with other dogs, big and small, and according to his previous owners, good with children.

Understandably, being lost and then in a shelter has been stressful for little Chi Chi. Fortunately, he is now on a two-week Frosted Fling, where he will have a chance to decompress in a calm home environment while getting lots of TLC.

His Fling Mom reports:

"Chi Chi is a very loving, affectionate dog. He can be a little timid for a few minutes, but he loves people and warm up quickly. Chi Chi loves to sit on my grandkids' laps at home and in the car.

Chi Chi gets along great with my German Shepherd and other small dogs at my house. He is a little bossy with the Shepherd when she gets too rowdy. He sometimes naps on the same dog bed with my other dogs.

Chi Chi loves to fetch balls and toys. I have an acre of land, and he loves it! Chi Chi is very obedient, and even if he is at the opposite end of the yard, he comes flying to me.

Chi Chi is a good eater. He is now house-trained! When I first got him, I let him out every 2 hours and used a belly band. I also crated him at night. Now, Chi Chi sleeps in my bed. When I am away from home, I crate him, but that's just to be safe because of my shepherd. I completely trust Chi Chi.

Chi Chi is pretty pefect! He is smart, curious, and good company."
