If you're having trouble deciding between a chihuahua and a lemur as a new companion, there is no reason you have to choose. With Battenburg, an infinitesimal choco chi, you get the best of both. Long-legged, shiny and sweet, our fella, unlike a lemur, isn't nocturnal, gets along with dogs and behaves like a prince indoors and out. If you can forgo the outlandish tail and settle for the magnificent eyes and ears, you've got a match. Plus, he's got a cutie pink blep, likes to snoogle, and fits in your armpit. No need to book a trip to Madagascar, your boy is at Muttvile. Come and get him!

If you know who you're interested in, we'll arrange a meeting in person or virtually. If you're still browsing, come to an adoption event!

Take the Pet Home

If you'd like to adopt we have a short finalization process and then you get to take your new dog home!

Additional adoption info

All of our senior mutts are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given flea/tick/dewormer medication. Regular adoptions are typically $250, and there is no adoption fee for senior adopters and Hospice adoptions, though we love donations to help pay it forward for the next mutt!
