My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nemo, a sweet and playful kitten with a heart full of courage! This little guy has been through a lot, but nothing can slow him down. On November 12th, Nemo underwent a leg amputation due to a congenital deformity that left him with a stump for his back leg. After careful consideration, our team decided that removing the stump would give Nemo the best chance for a healthy and happy future.

Despite this, Nemo is thriving and full of energy, always ready to play and show affection. He's never without his brother Sheldon, who has been a constant source of support and comfort throughout Nemo's journey. The bond between these two is undeniable, and we'd love to see them go home together. Sheldon's playful and loving presence has helped Nemo stay positive through every challenge, and we know that together, they'll continue to bring joy and happiness to your home.

If you adopt both Sheldon and Nemo, you'll receive $90 off their combined adoption fee, making the total just $500. Nemo and Sheldon are ready to fill your life with love, laughter, and endless snuggles-will you give them the forever home they deserve?

Come meet Nemo and Sheldon in person during our adoption hours, or reach out to bloomingdale@ahconnects.org or call 847-697-2880 x: 90. Our friendly staff will be happy to help.

All our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines, flea, and tick preventatives. Plus, your adoption includes a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
