Hello, my name is Bentley. Not only am I a handsome boy with shiny silky fur but I also have extra toes. They tell me that is good luck. I love to zoom around the room playing with toys and my siblings, but I am also a total love. I am very happy to have a warm cozy lap to snuggle on. I am an outgoing, friendly, sweet playful, affectionate boy. I love getting lots of attention and loves. I will be adopted with my buddy Falcon and we are looking for special people to give us a furever home with lots of time to give love and attention. We are both such wonderful boys.
PLEASE READ:
Adoption fee $100 for adult (over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet.
Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier.
In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit.
