Sadie is a 5 year old, 20 lb. Wire-haired Terrier/Dachshund mix.
Sadie came to the rescue very timid and shy. In her former life she lived in a busy, active home with many other dogs, and it was just too much for this sweet, calm little lady. With patience and love, she has opened up in her foster home and is enjoying being doted on by her foster mom. She would love to find a family where she can live the quiet life and be your one and only. She would love to get all the attention and not have to share you since she is very timid and submissive around other animals. She has excellent house manners and can be left alone without a crate while her foster mom is gone. She is completely house-trained too! She likes to go on walks and is good on a leash, but she is much more of an indoorsy-type and prefers the couch life. If you are looking for a movie buddy to snuggle up with this winter, Sadie is your girl! You bring the blankets and hot cocoa, and she will bring the love!
