Red Bull entered the Humane Society of Imperial County as a stray. When he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up on November 18th to become a Frosted Face. Red Bull is around 10 years old and weighs 9 lbs.
Red Bull contracted a respiratory illness at the shelter that developed into pneumonia. He was chosen for a two-week Frosted Fling at the beginning of December, so he could recover in the comforts of a home.
Fortunately, Red Bull's lungs are now clear, and he is on the road to making a full recovery. His Fling Mom has extended their time together and shared this happy update:
"Now that Red Bull is feeling better his little personality is emerging! Here is what I've learned:
* He is great in a crate and will sleep in it throughout the night.
* He loves to play with toys.
* He is great on a leash and uses a harness to protect his trachea. He got one for Christmas!
* Grass was new to him. He wouldn’t potty on it at first and chose the sidewalk instead, but that is improving.
* He is great in a car seat but doesn’t like to be in a carrier.
* He doesn't care for my cat
*. He is great with the dremel for nails. He takes a bath like a charm.
Red Bull is the sweetest little guy. He loves belly rubs and has no problem being cradled in your arms with his belly exposed."
