Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meow, my name is Sweet Potato and I`m the resident career-oriented cat here at the shelter! With my curious and intelligent nature, I`m always on the hunt for new adventures and challenges to tackle. My favorite part of the day is when the shelter staff come to play with me - I love to show off my problem-solving skills as I figure out how to get those treats or toys they bring. And when I`m done exploring, there`s nothing I enjoy more than snuggling up for a good cuddle session. How did I get here? Transferred from Scotland County Humane Society along with my siblings.
**I will be spayed before going home. I am currently living in a foster home - please fill out a survey and select a phone appointment to complete the adoption process. Once that process is complete, your adoption specialist will schedule a time for you to meet me in person!**
~My adoption fee is $175.00~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
