My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

She's as cute as she is sassy!

Adorable little Cali is a curious, confident and playful little kitten who would likely do well with a playful kitten companion!

Currently Cali is in foster and this is what her foster mom has to say about her
" She has settled in quickly and is super affectionate, and needy girl. She slept on our bed most of the night and was very curious with our Border Collie, eventually approaching her to touch noses! She is a confident, curious and a playful kitten and she comes when you call her. She loves human attention and seems to like hanging out in whatever room I'm in. She is a delight! She is very interested in cat TV"

Do you need a little help waking up each morning? Cali is known to be the best 5am alarm clock you could ask for!
Unfortunately this is one of the reasons she was surrendered into our care, she needs a home with lots of space and enrichment to keep her happy!
Though with every day in her foster home and the more she's settling has her sleeping in

Cali seems to be a little sensitive with touch along her back, this could be because she's a sassy little lady or this could be related to a food allergy. Future adopters will need to monitor this, and provide continue vet care to rule out food or other allergens.

Cali is currently in foster and therefore unavailable for walk in meet and greets, to start the process of meeting and adopting her, follow the link below to submit your application.

TIP: We strongly suggest all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. Leaving these questions empty inhibits our ability to make the best match possible.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:
