My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jeremy!

The adorable 11 week-old kitten with a personality as loud as his purrs! This little cuddle bug is on a mission to become the world's snuggle champion, and trust us, he's completely committed! When he's not busy cozying up to his humans, you can find him zipping around the house in a whirlwind of fun, known as the zoomies!

With his big curious eyes and sophisticated tuxedo coat (seriously, he is always looking like such a gentleman!) Jeremy is always ready for a playful adventure! He's got an insatiable curiosity that translates into epic leaps and hilarious tumbles, just think of him as a fuzzy little acrobat with a penchant for mischief!

While this gentleman loves to make friends with fellow felines, he can be a bit shy at first. But give him a minute (or a treat), and he will come right out of his shell, ready to engage in all the epic cat playdates you can handle. Whether he's chasing a feather toy or about to embark on a daring expedition on the back of your couch, Jeremy is always ready to have a good time.

If you are looking for a little fur ball who will brighten your days with cuddles and laughter, Jeremy is your guy! He is the purr-fect mix of playful antics and sweet snuggles, and he can't wait to find his people!

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort
