My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone My name is Jillian and I am your next Energizer bunny pup that will keep you laughing and keep you active and make you happy that I'm around. I'm a young lab mixed girl that was born August 26th and I am at the perfect age to adopt me and start working on all the wonderful dog matters in habits that will make me the perfect girl. I truly am smart as a whip and a ton of fun. I would love to live with a family that has an adult dog that I can hang out with and have them be my mentor and big brother or sister.  I would be fine with cats if I'm introduced to them now. I probably might chase it first to make them play with me. And maybe they will turn around and we could have a grand time together. I am learning about crates and I am learning about a leash but resisting at the moment, and I am learning that the world is big and I intend to explore all of it. I am currently 12 lb and I will probably be a 45 to 50 lb adult dog. I have beautiful black cold shiny eyes with a soft coat of fur that you will love to stroke and pet. I'm looking for a home now. Just in time for Thanksgiving. I'll come and share a turkey leg with the right family that has a fenced in yard and athletic people to play with me. More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?
