Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ida Mae is an incredibly sweet dog! She is very friendly and affectionate. She enjoys going on walks and using her hound nose to sniff everything. Ida Mae is heartworm positive,, and we will need to raise the funds for her treatment before she can be adopted. To meet Ida Mae, please call 843-249-4948 to schedule an appointment, or you can submit an application at https://humanesocietynmb.org/dog-adoption-form/

HSNMB does not hold animals and all adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis in person at the shelter. Once the adoption is completed and the fee is paid, you must take the animal with you at that time.
Please be sure to bring a photo ID and cash or a credit card for the adoption fee. The primary caregiver is required to be present to go through the adoption process. Any children 5 and under and, in some cases, any existing dogs living in the home will be required to be present and meet the animal prior to adopting. Meet and greets are not required for all animals, but may be deemed necessary by HSNMB staff for specific pets.
Adoption Fees:
Cats (over 6 months of age): $60
Kittens (under 6 months of age): $100
Dogs (over 6 months of age): $110
Puppies (under 6 months of age): $140
Seniors ages 60 and up qualify for discounted adoptions fees.
