Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi! My name is Proton and I am available for adoption. I am looking for a home where I can go home with my brother Electron (A719997) or Neutron (A719996). I stopped eating while we were separated and we ABSOLUTELY need to go to a home together.
I was brought in by my previous owner on November 13, 2024 because they had too many cats. My previous owner mentions that I have not had too much human interaction in my home.
When I first arrived I was terrified and was on the way to being a barn cat, but after a little extra TLC from my caregivers I learned that people aren`t so scary.
I must admit I am still unsure of new people. I will not approach you first and will probably hunker down and hide. I am looking for a patient family that understands that I am a work in progress and will need time to decompress before I can show my true colors. It takes a couple minutes of chin scritches for me to actually enjoy them.
Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home without younger children. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home.
I am a gentle and loving kitten who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might need some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!
