My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~

Health: ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam *****

Temperament:   Meet the Irresistible Abby! Introducing Abby, a 4-year-old bundle of love and joy who is on the hunt for her forever family! This charming girl may take a moment to warm up, but trust us, the wait is worth it! Once she decides you’re her people, prepare for an avalanche of affection!

Abby is a playful spirit with a goofy side that will keep you smiling. Whether she’s chasing her favorite toys or showing off her silly antics, she’s always ready to brighten your day. With a heart full of love, she’ll follow you from room to room, and when you scoop her up, her eyes will say, “You’re my whole world!”

This delightful girl is not just a cuddle buddy; she’s also a social butterfly! Abby is friendly with other dogs, but she would rather be the only dog in the home. She’s kennel trained and is a rock star at settling in for the night, making her a low-maintenance snuggle bug.

At 13 lbs, Abby has a little extra love to give, but don’t worry—she’s ready to get moving! With some fun walks and playtime, those extra ounces will melt away, revealing her svelte self in no time. Plus, she’s a pro on a leash, making every outing a delightful adventure!

If you’re searching for a spirited companion who will fill your life with laughter and love, look no further than Abby!

Apply to adopt Abby today and embark on a heartwarming journey filled with cuddles, playtime, and unconditional love! --

Where did she come from: Surrendered because she was not getting along with the other dogs in the home.

Additional adoption info

Please allow up to 72 hours for a response.

Adopting one of our dogs requires that you fill out an adoption application, have your references checked, and let us visit your home.

The required minimum adoption donation is $250. That amount covers the spay/neuter, annual vaccinations, heartworm testing, and one month of heart worm preventative.

We spend about $300.00 just to treat the pommies that are heartworm positive. We have invested more than $1000.00 in several of our pommies--treating them and kenneling them. Kenneling cost $16 a day per dog. We need foster homes!
