My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chico is a one-year-old male, 12.4 pounds, brown hair, and house-trained according to his surrendering owner. He walks well on leash, rides well in the car, and is very sweet, loving, and healthy. His owners love him very much, but they are both being deployed in December, which is why Chico is being surrendered to rescue. He is coming to rescue December 1, 2024. We don't know much else about him yet, but will update the website when we do.

If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Chico, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Please go to our website www.k9bestfriendsforever.com and click on "Adopt" which will take you to our online application form.

Go meet their pets

All of our dogs are in foster care in private homes throughout California. If you wish to meet one of our animals, please contact us and we will put you in touch with the foster family who is temporarily caring for your new best friend.

More about this rescue

Our goal is to rescue at-risk dogs and place them in stable, loving, and permanent homes.

Through no fault of their own, these dogs find themselves in shelters or with guardians who can no longer care for them. We believe each dog is special and deserves to be cherished and protected. We are dedicated to helping find these loyal companions a permanent home and a second chance at life.

K9BFF is supported solely by donations from you. If you would like to sponsor this pet and provide for its food, accessories, and supplies for one month (approx. $40) please visit Paypal.com and send your tax-deductible donation to k9bff@hotmail.com.

We are also registered with Mission Fish (on Ebay).
Ebay sellers can donate a percentage of their sales to K9BFF at listing time and Ebay will keep track of the donations and payments for them.
